The show, after the first couple of seasons, which were original and well done, now features adulterous sexual scenes for our youth to emulate, superfluous homosexuality which is injected into a scene but which has nothing to do with the object of the show, and show plots that are no more than mirror images of previous plots showing the poor and limited imagination of the writers and directors. However, it has degenerated into the usual morass of filth and mindless repeat programming that all networks seem to thrive on.

The Flash started out as a very well done TV adaptation of the DC comic series. The final scene hints at a huge change but I'm not expecting much in season five. It is truly unfortunate but I think the only way this show can survive is if season five is a soft reboot. The first two seasons were great but seasons three and four doesn't even come close. This season is overall disappointing and proves, yet again, that this show has lost its way. The new characters introduced this season weren't compelling and I did not care about them.
One big issue was many episodes were self contained episodes with their own villain that added nothing to the overall season. There were events that could have kept the viewers interest but these ended up being small and unimportant. However, the season only had one main arc over the course of 23 episodes. The idea of a villain who literally could not be beat could have been fantastic. Hazard, a returning character, or a noob to the series? … Expand He had a conversation with his assistant, and then began to locate other meta humans, but just as the computer finishes loading, the episode ends, leaving us on a cliffhanger. This new episode also got the chance to show Barry's new suit, and ending with another cliffhanger involving the thinker. update: episode two wasn't as incredible and likable as episode 1, but there were still bits of humor sprinkled throughout the episode, and the antagonist was pretty cool, technology controlling and all. From the samuroid, to Barry's return, to Caitlin's redemption, to Barry's new suit, to "this house is b***'n, to the plot twisting scene including the thinker, and that incredible hinting line I'm thinking", this season is epic in every possible way.
